Camperdown our new home.

This is the courtyard into the apartment. Our apt. is the 3rd on the left.

As I mentioned previously, I have moved into Sydney. Today was my first day, well actually my second day in the city...I had to go to Uni yesterday. Australians call school/college Uni. School is used to describe high school students and under. Just had to clarify the difference. The have a tendency to shorten words. One day I'll have a list of abbreviated Australian words.
Anyway, TODAY was my first day to actually explore Newtown and the area surrounding where I live. Melissa and Jonathan will be moving in next weekend.
This is our street. Mallet Street. (above)

I just love how unique all the houses and apartments are here. Notice the wrought iron fences and balconies..they call it 'iron lace'.
Stencil of George Bush by the words 'I Hate'
I don't know what these little faces are made out of but they make me smile.

This is the dog park..but unfortunately there was only one dog today. There were so many last night. It made me miss my boys at home, Barkley and Banjo.
Hey there little lonely dog! I wore Kimberly's lovely kissing rabbit bracelet today.
I've started a 'traveling feet' photography series. Each place that I travel, whether it be another city or country I take a photo while looking down.
love,
Kristi
